How OgenaShield Works

ADVANCED* PHOTOCATALYTIC OXIDATION

The OgenaShield AirPurifier System (Powered by Puraclenz) combines cutting-edge ion dispersion technology in the ultimate surface and air cleaning solution.

It leverages the power of the advanced PCO technology to destroy both surface-bound and airborne pathogens.

A UV lamp supplies light to a photocatalytic generator containing Titanium-Oxide (TiO2), which produces highly-reactive hydroxyl radicals ( •OH) and superoxide ions (O-2).

These ions bind with pathogens (viruses, bacteria, fungus and mold) material, as well as any harmful VOC’s in the area of exposure. Once bound, the oxidation reaction is kicked off thanks to the reactivity of the ionic particles, which essentially burns away the pathogens and produces harmless water (H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2) particles.

Unlike competitive units pathogens DO NOT have to pass through the unit to be killed! Instead the unit releases pathogen killing ions into the entire space where they kill in the air and on all surfaces.
